Method
Preheat and assemble
- Preheat oven to 350F and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally in one sheet without separating, then place the bottoms in the greased baking dish.
- Spread Dijon mustard on the roll bottoms, then layer the sliced turkey and the brie (or white cheddar).
- Spread whole berry cranberry sauce on the cut side of the tops and place the tops over the filling.
Brush and bake
- Whisk melted butter, honey, poppy seeds, and dried thyme, then brush over the tops.
- Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes at 350F, until the rolls begin to set.
- Uncover and bake for 5 minutes at 350F, until golden and the cheese is melted.
Finish and serve
- Slice into individual sliders and serve warm.
Notes
Pro tip: for the cleanest layers, keep the rolls as one sheet while slicing, then press the tops down lightly so the cheese and turkey meet the cranberry layer. Refrigerate leftovers in a covered container up to 3 days; reheat in a 325F oven until warmed through (about 8–10 minutes). Freezing is not recommended because the cranberry and rolls can soften on thawing. Dietary swap: use turkey and cheese that are dairy-free (e.g., dairy-free cheese slices) if you need a lactose-free version.
